Our
Story
My work is shaped by a long-standing relationship with art, culture, and craft. With a deep appreciation for traditional design, I was drawn to Arabic calligraphy from a young age. At 15, I began formal study at the Yunus Emre Institute in London, where I learned the foundations of classical calligraphy and discipline in practice. I later spent a short period studying with a master calligrapher in Turkey, whose work can be found in mosques across the country—an experience that further refined my approach and respect for the craft. Now based in the UAE, living within a region where Islamic art is part of everyday life has naturally shaped my work and perspective. Through my artwork, I aim to create pieces that sit comfortably within the home—quiet reminders that preserve remembrance through thoughtful design, quality materials, and careful execution.
Workshops
We run calligraphy workshops for a variety of audiences, including universities and charitable organisations. Our experience includes sessions with Brunel University, St George’s University, and several community groups. These workshops are hands-on, informative, and accessible, providing participants with a practical introduction to the art of Arabic calligraphy.
Live calligraphy
We provide live calligraphy demonstrations at events, offering an engaging and memorable experience for attendees. Our past projects include a live personalisation prayer mat station at London’s Light Upon Light event, which welcomed over 12,000 visitors, as well as several sisters’ events. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people interact with the art and watch a piece come to life in real time.
Personalisation
Beyond original artworks, we offer customisation for items such as prayer mats and bespoke commissions. Each piece is created with care and an understanding of the client’s vision, transforming everyday items into meaningful, personalised works of art.
